Parenting with Love & Logic Alumni Drop-In Classes!
Beginning 9/12/11 - Drop in Monday mornings and connect with other parents who have completed the Love & Logic Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun series. This loosely facilitated discussion and support group will be led by Jane Costello. Share experiences, review L&L techniques, and brainstorm together to help refresh your skills, and rejuvenate your enthusiasm. Parents will be divided into groups based upon the ages of participants’ children.

Fees and Policies:
Effective 7/1/11: $125/person plus a $10 materials fee or $175/couple plus a $20 materials fee (two people parenting the same children and attending the same class). Individuals who enroll and pay an individual fee and later enroll a partner or spouse in a subsequent series are charged $75.00 (instead of $125) for the second adult plus the $10 materials fee. Class fees at the Mandell JCC vary slightly. See JCC class details above.
Childcare: The Firefly Center is pleased to offer childcare for children of parents who enroll in a morning Love and Logic class series. A three child minimum enrollment is necessary to offer this program with a maximum of twelve. Children will enjoy free play with trains, puppets, building and will be offered arts and craft while parents meet in a nearby class space. Each session will include story time, music time and a snack. Fees vary - please inquire. Parents are asked to pack a drink in a spill-free cup. Registration and pre-payment is required for the series. No refunds are available for an unexpected absence.
Parent Coaching: Individualized classes, small group, or private parent coaching are also available on request. Fees vary based upon individual circumstances but typical rates are as follows:
Private Parent Coaching ~ Hourly: $85/hour plus materials fee. Pay as you go, and schedule as often as you like. Follow up email support included after each session.
Private Coaching Package ~ 10 hour package: $750 per person or per couple includes materials. This package requires a mutually agreed upon schedule and commitment. This package includes phone and email support above the 10 hours up to 1 hour/week. Schedule an initial one hour private session and apply the fee towards this package if you like.
Professional Development: Teacher in-service or staff training on the essential skills and principles of Love and Logic are also available. Please inquire. Credit hours applicable for state licensing requirements.
Cancellations/Refunds: My general policy is to refund any class fees that are requested 72 hours prior to the start of the class or series. Should you enroll in a class and need to cancel at the last minute, monies paid will be credited towards a future class or series. Missed classes are not refundable but as stated above, make up class opportunities are offered.
Enrollment is limited to 15 people/class in most 5 week series.
